Permies Vs. Nappies

Say it isin't so? Can't we all just get along? There are a few heated debates on YouTube as of late. Many nappies are against the Lye(harsh chemicals used in Relaxers and Texturizers to chemically alter our afro texture making it permanently straight or wavy).
Under 'the chemical regime' We (many naturals and permies) have suffered hair loss, chemical burns and even permanent damage.
We mean well when we try to spread the message to throw out the relaxers and go natural. With anything there are those who will take it to the extreme. Let's not try to turn permies off with high and mighty attitudes and "holier than though" finger pointing tactics. This will not work. Lets learn, love and grow together. Enjoy your natural hair experience and be a shining example of positivity to one and all.
